They had neglected to tell me to eat something before I went, but the girls were very active anyway. Fluid levels were great and we were able to see them doing their "practice breathing" - very cool!
It went by way too fast though - didn't get a chance to see them long enough!
I also had a regular doctor's appt with my docs colleague (she is on vacation) and we heard both heartbeats with the doppler - Baby A cooperated this time! A's heart rate was 147 and B's was 141. My cervix is still long and closed so babies are staying put!
I have my BPPs scheduled every week, a level 2 u/s on the 19th and my next regular appt on the 21st. We also signed up for some classes (Newborn Care and Safety, Twins and Preterm Labor, Breastfeeding and Bootcamp for New Dads). At least with all these appts and with the classes maybe it will make the next 7 weeks go by faster!
I have been feeling pretty good. Just dealing with pelvic pain, backaches, severe heartburn and not sleeping well, but I wouldn't trade any of it, every kick and wiggle I feel makes it all so very worth it! :-)
I see my regular doc at the next visit and I'll talk to her then about what the procedure will be as far as the c-section if the girls decide they are coming earlier than 38 weeks!
The tech did get one picture of Baby A's face and it'll be on the web page soon. Good luck with this one - even we have trouble figuring it out and we're getting pretty good at finding our little ones in these u/s pics! :-)
Hope everyone is doing well. Take care.
Love,
Denise and Buddy, Parents of Zachary Michael b/s 7/26/99 and Little Girls edd 9/8/00 (but arriving in August)
