Hi Everyone,
We had an NST done on Wednesday and the girls did great.
Baby A is still hard to get a trace on because she always moves away from the
sensor, so it doesn't record her heart rate increasing. We finally got
her and already had B done, so I was only there for 1 1/2 hours instead of the
3 on Sunday! I don't mind at all though - I love listening to their
heartbeats - it's so reassuring!
Today I had a BPP and again they passed with flying colors!
They were very active, had great breathing motions and the fluid was fine.
We only got a picture of Baby B and Buddy will scan that later and put it on
the girls' web site with this update.
The visiting nurse has been coming and my BP has been really
good (of course I am resting and laying on my left side when she takes it!)
and it was good at the hospital during the NST, so I guess the bedrest is
helping.
My c-section is confirmed for Friday, 8/18/00 and it will be at
8:30 a.m. We have to be there earlier, but I won't know exactly when
until I meet with the anesthesiologist again the day before the c/s. Two
weeks left!
Next week I have and NST on Mon, a doctor's appt Tues and a BPP
on Thurs - so much for resting, huh?! LOL I'll update on Thurs and
let you know how everything went.
