Hi Everyone,

Well, this will be my last doctor's appt update - hopefully the next one will be all about the arrival of our girls!

On Monday we had an NST and the girls did great - Baby A cooperated very nicely this time!  The nurse doing the test was one of my nurses when Zachary was born.  It was good to see her again under happier circumstances.

On Tuesday, I saw my doctor for a regular appt.  My bp was up again (big surprise!), but since it had been good all week with the visiting nurse, my doc wasn't worried.  She still can't believe I've made it to 36 1/2 weeks with twins and my cervix is still unchanged and I'm still doing so well!  She is excited about the girls' arrival on Friday, too!

Today we had our last level 2 u/s and the girls are looking great!  They estimated Baby A to be 8 lbs. 13 oz. and Baby B to be 8 lbs. 2 oz. - WOW!  No wonder my back hurts so much! :-)  It will be interesting to see how close the estimates are to their actual weights on Friday.

Tomorrow I have my pre-op consult and bloodwork and then Friday is the big day - we can't wait!  We have to be at the hospital at 7:30 a.m. and the c-section is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.  They'll keep me in the hospital for 4-5 days and as long as the girls are healthy, we should all be home by the middle of next week.

Buddy will send out an update as soon as he can and let you know how we are all doing.

We want to thank you all again for all the support, encouragement, positive thoughts and prayers.  You have all helped us make it through the last 8 months - now we just need to get through the next day and a half!

Buddy will update the web site with the new u/s pics either tonight or tomorrow night.  We have been working on revising the girls' web site for after they arrive and it is just about done.  We'll get some pics of them up as soon as we can and send out the new address.

We hope everyone is doing well.  Take care!

Love,
Denise and Buddy, Parents of Zachary Michael b/2 7/26/99 and Little Girls c/s 8/18/00
