Hi Everyone,
We had another doctor's appt last night. No exciting news like last week! :-) They were really backed up and we got home late so I didn't get a chance to write last night.
My BP was slightly better, but still on the high side and it's still a little early to listen for heartbeats. She is going to schedule a Level 2 ultrasound for when I'm 18 weeks (I'm 9 1/2 now). They only do them on Mon and Wed at the hospital and they get booked up so that is why she's scheduling it so early. She says the Level 2 will be very long because they look at all the anatomy and skeletal structure of the babies.
My next appt is in 3 weeks and I'm going to see one of her colleagues. He is the maternal fetal specialist. I'll be just over 12 weeks and he'll prescribe the course of antibiotics for me.
I asked her about how long she will want me working and she said with twins I could end up out as early as 20 weeks (10 weeks from now) depending on how I'm feeling and my BP. She said she probably won't want me working past the time of my loss with Zachary (27 weeks), so probably the maximum I'll be working is 17 more weeks. But she said all that will depend on how things are progressing.
That was about it. Hopefully next time we'll be able to hear those beautiful little heartbeats! Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers for our Little Ones - with all the good vibes coming our way and the angels watching over them - things just have to be ok this time!
