Hi Everyone,

I had a regular doctor's appt today and the girls are doing well. Baby A's heart rate was 147 and Baby B's was 138. The tech had a little trouble scanning A because of her position (she is head down and very low), but B was easy since she is transverse across the top of my belly.

My cervix is still long and closed, so my doc is very happy about that. My BP was actually normal! It is always on the high side, but I had about 45 minutes between the u/s and my appt so I was sitting in my car relaxing and reading, so that may have helped!

I passed my 2nd GTT and she had the level 2 u/s report and said everything looks great. She's really happy that both girls are still the same size and are both growing well.

She did talk about a c-section since Baby B is still transverse. She wants everything to go smoothly with delivering these babies and doesn't want extra stress on me or them. Since Baby A is head down, she could be delivered vaginally and if Baby B doesn't move I'd end up with a c-section for her. My doc said we'll still wait and see for now, but she wants me to meet with the anesthesiologist and to get used to the idea of a c-section. I don't really care how they get here, as long as they arrive healthy and alive!

That was about it for today. I see her again in 2 weeks and after that we'll start the NSTs and I have another level 2 u/s scheduled in two weeks as well to check their growth.

I'm 26 weeks 2 days now and this will be my last week at work.  Still no need for complete bedrest, but my doc wants me off my feet and resting as much as possible.  I have been having trouble sleeping more than 1 or 2 hours at a time, so it will be good to be able to take some naps during the day! :-)

The girls have continued to be very active and Buddy has been able to feel Baby B kick a few times.  Usually she stops moving the minute he puts his hand on my belly, but we have caught her off guard a couple of times!  I'm just grateful that they are so active - it is very reassuring.

I hope everyone is doing well.  Take care!

Love,
